A rainy day bouzouki [demo]

Considering it’s such a structurally simplistic song, ‘A Rainy Day Blues’ has somehow defied all my efforts so far to produce a version where the guitar and voice gel. This, oddly enough, is one of the older versions – maybe the first time I tried to record it – and turned up today when I was working on my music blogs.

I think I’d just bought the bouzouki, and I’m not particularly proficient on the instrument even now, but it seems to fit the arrangement quite well. The voice wasn’t having a good day, though.

All the versions I can currently bear to listen to are accumulated here.
