Actually two demos for the price of one. I haven’t decided which way I’m going to go on this one yet… I wrote it in the late 60s and have usually sung it unaccompanied, but now dithering.

The guitar works well with your vocal on this…. Is your vocal going higher than usual for you, taking you out of your comfort zone? This could easily extend that zone….

Thanks, Ian. I hadn’t consciously thought about it, but I do tend to trust my top notes less nowadays. When I was younger I tended to pitch things high because my lowest notes tended to be underpowered in the purely acoustic context of most folk clubs. Maybe I need to be a little more adventurous. 🙂
